William C. (Bill) Jenkins, III is an agent but also manages the Employee / Group Benefits and Life insurance division of The Clement Companies. His primary areas of focus are Employee Benefits and Life Insurance representing several of the top companies.
Bill has experience in marketing, negotiating, underwriting procedures, medical reinsurance projections and brings forth an overall assessment of Group & Individual insurance options/risks primarily for employers to assist them in controlling costs while providing a high level of benefit for their company and employees. The Clement Companies now represents one of the largest Independent Agencies for Employee Benefits east of Raleigh. Working with both businesses and individuals mainly throughout eastern North Carolina, Bill educates his clients on medical insurance strategies such as HRAs and HSAs allowing them the opportunity to make an “informed decision” on options presented. He also markets Life, Dental, Vision, Disability, Section 125/FSAs, Long Term Care, Annuities & 401Ks/403Bs. Darlene Jones, Joni Faulkner and Lynell McDowell work with Bill assisting employers and employees with marketing their coverage as well as any service items.
Bill also holds an SEC registration as a Registered Representative with First Heartland Capital in St. Louis, MO. He is a past term member of the Blue Cross Blue Shield of NC Producer Council and is a Qualifying & Life Member of the MDRT International Association which represents the top 6% of Insurance/Financial Services agents worldwide.
From Greenville NC, he has been married for 9 years and he and his wife have two children. He attended East Carolina University Business School and graduated with a BSBA degree in Finance. He has over 17 years experience in the insurance industry and 14 years working with The Clement Companies, an Independent Insurance Agency, representing Hundreds of Employers and thousands of Employees throughout North Carolina offering several top companies in the industry.
