Jim and his wife, Louise have two great children in Louis Mann and Edwin and the family enjoys spending time together.

As part of the feeling of responsibility Jim has been a part of the vestry in St. Paul’s Episcopal Church and many other philantropic efforts in Eastern NC, including the Boy Scouts of America and the Boys & Girls Club.
